Colin Hassell is a Toronto based drummer from the Annapolis Valley in Nova Scotia. A groove-centric musician with a versatile skill set, Colin is proficient in all styles of music, but tends to favour anything that makes the heads bob and the feet tap. He grew up in a very musical family, both parents are classical musicians and music educators, both of which often joke about his jazz background making him the “black sheep” of the family, musically speaking. Colin is also currently the touring drummer for Barrie based rocker, Lyric Dubee and Toronto based hip hop artist, Mutari.

When he isn’t diving head first into the music, you can usually find Colin relaxing, watching sports, or enjoying nature. He is notoriously conflicted about the city life, many speculate that he may only be one major life event from voluntarily carrying out the rest of his days in a tent down by a river somewhere.
